#Keep drive spinning in windows 7 software

I would assume that this must be possible, but would assume that it involves some additional software or a Windows hack.

What I want is for hard drives to sleep until they are needed, regardless of the system itself waking up and going to sleep. Vista is then in turn defragging itself to keep things neat and clean.

Normally this can be controlled using the Energy Saver preference pane in System Preferences, and that should be your first resort in dealing with the problem, rather than this or any other third party software.
